Study time

This course takes approximately 12 hours to complete the required training, however you will have access to the materials for one year to be able to plan your study time and complete your exam.

Assessment

The foundation exam consists of:

  • 60 questions
  • Closed book
  • 60 minute exam duration

The pass mark for the foundation exam is 55 percent.

The e-learning course allows you to attempt simulated foundation exams, to gain feedback on areas that need further work. The course also indicates when you are ready for the exam, based on performance in the simulated exam.

Sitting your exam

Once you have completed the online learning and believe you are ready to sit your exam, you will be able to book your online exam, using your exam voucher. We would recommend that you do not book your exam until you are able to achieve 80% or higher in the exam simulator.

You must sit your exam within your course registration period. Should you fail to sit your exam during your registration period, you will need to apply and pay the full course fee again.
